The school district coordinates with an insurance company named Worth Avenue to simplify the process of purchasing Chromebook insurance for families that would like that service. It is not required for any students.

Changes in the industry are allowing us to make changes to our district Chromebook policy. Sixth Grade, Seventh Grade, Freshmen, and Sophomores should not purchase supplemental Chromebook Insurance. Eighth Grade, Sophomores, and Seniors are still leasing their Chromebooks with the option to purchase them for $1 at the end of the year so may wish to purchase the additional coverage for the 26-27 school year. The one time cost of $37 covers covers $369, the full replacement cost of the Chromebook.

If you choose to purchase insurance you will need to go to the Worth Avenue sign up portal (https://gpo.worthavegroup.com/gpo/baldwin-woodville) where you will be required to fill in your student's 'Other ID. The Student's Other ID can be found under the Student ID tab on Family Access. The opportunity to sign up is open through Sunday, September 6, 2026.
