Athletic and Activities participation offers students the priceless challenge to combine mental, physical, and emotional abilities in the pursuit of total individual excellence.  The purpose of the B-W Activities program is to extend the classroom to all students who wish to participate in athletics.  It is a rare opportunity to be all that you possibly can be.

Athletics and Activities are to be used as a means to develop character and responsibility in our athletes.  In regard to academics, the Blackhawk Activities department supports the educational aspirations, academic progress, and general welfare of the student-athlete.  In competition, the department fosters principles of sportsmanship, respect, and fair play.  In all of its activities, the Blackhawk Activities Department insists on integrity, ethical conduct, and accountability.
