Hadestown: Teen Edition is a powerful reimagining of the ancient Greek myth of Orpheus and Eurydice that has been crafted for young performers while staying true to the original Broadway production. Inspired by the timeless tale of love, sacrifice, and defiance of fate, the story follows Orpheus as he journeys to the underworld to rescue his beloved Eurydice. Similar to shows like Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat and Seussical, a folk and jazz-infused score by Anaïs Mitchell blends mythology with modern themes in a hauntingly beautiful way.
