Students in Mrs. Kayla Knutson’s English class kicked off their new novel with a web activity that showed how we’re all connected — even in small ways. 💕
Students shared something about themselves and tossed a ball of yarn to classmates with similar traits or experiences, creating a web of connections across the room.

Author Mat Heagerty visited Greenfield students on November 6th.📚
Mat taught students about collaborating and working together in writing and drawing. Each grade gave suggestions on how to create a group drawing and made up stories using photos as inspiration. ✍️Mat also talked about dyslexia and how he learned to work and overcome those struggles.
