Greenfield Elementary School

Departments strive to serve the district as a whole while maintaining a focus on individual student's needs. The links below and those in the menu on Greenfield's portion of the website are focused on elementary department information. Food Services - The Food Service department meets high nutritional standards to provide breakfast, lunch, and field trip meals. The kitchen and dining area are located just inside the main doors, within the center of the building. Menu items vary daily.

Health Services - The Health Services department is committed to supporting the well-being of all students ensuring a safe and healthy learning environment. The nurse's office is located within the front office complex.

Student Services -The Student Services department collaborates with parents, educators, and community partners across the district to provide comprehensive and individualized support for our students. At the elementary that involves enhancing academics, encourage student self-awareness, fostering interpersonal communication skills, providing career awareness, and imparting life skills for all students.

Community Facilities and Activities - The elementary school has two gymnasiums, and commons area. It has a baseball/softball field and large playground. Reservation of those areas and other rooms at Greenfield are managed by Community Facilities and Activities department.

Athletics - The elementary school encourages athletics through Fuel Up to Play 60 programming and Youth Sports such as baseball, softball, basketball, football, soccer. tennis, volleyball, and wrestling.

Transportation - Greenfield transportation for school and extracurricular events picks up and drops off in the bus loading zone which is by the side entrance on the north side of the building.

Technology - The technology department maintains the secure WiFi network and manages classroom software throughout the elementary school. They provide Chromebooks for students in the classroom with software that supports Greenfield learning goals.

Library - The library is a central hub in the building. Students visit it weekly to select reading material, hear readings, meet with authors, and participate in media centered technology activities.
