End-of-the-Month Club Celebrations at Viking Middle School ❄️🔥
To wrap up the month, Viking Middle School students celebrated with clubs!
Sixth- through eighth-grade students enjoyed s’mores, snowflakes, and snowballs in Mrs. Hawkins’ club. Lots of fun and smiles to go around!

Our Viking Middle School students had a spectacular time finding their Zen at Jenosa Studio today! A huge shoutout to the marvelous Ms. Jeena. She was a fantastic instructor, and it was awesome seeing every student master those yoga poses. ✨
After finding our inner peace, we headed over to Culver’s for a well-deserved lunch treat! 🍔🍦 From downward dog to Butter Burgers, it was a 10/10, fantastic day!

On Jan 13, our 8th grade WEB leaders prepped for an upcoming 6th-grade lunch activity by tackling the Marshmallow & Toothpick Tower Challenge! 📐
Our 8th grade WEB leaders geared up for a 6th-grade lunch activity on Jan 13 with a fun Marshmallow & Toothpick Tower Challenge! They had just 10 minutes to build the tallest tower, honing those teamwork and mentorship skills they'll use to guide our younger students. Great job leaders! #WEBLeaders #StudentLeadership #Teamwork #MiddleSchool

On Friday, January 9, our 7th graders attended the Courage Retreat at the high school 💬💪. The day focused on inspiring students to use courage to do the right thing and make responsible decisions—even when it feels difficult ❤️🖤

We’re excited to once again celebrate Phelan Lucky Day on March 17 in support of awareness for Phelan-McDermid Syndrome, a rare genetic disorder caused by a difference in chromosome 22.
This day is especially meaningful to our school community as we honor Lucas Hush, an 11th-grade student and the son of our high school math teacher, Grey Hush. Despite the challenges of this rare condition, Lucas lives life to the fullest and brings joy to everyone around him.
In partnership with the Phelan Lucky Foundation, families, and staff, we’re helping raise awareness, support affected families, and fund important research.
