CHILD DEVELOPMENT DAYS
The Early Learning Staff at the Baldwin-Woodville Area School District is preparing for the future enrollment of your child in school. Most years, that begins with an event we call Child Development Days (sometimes called preschool or 3-year-old screening).
Typically, this screening takes place in person and is intended to provide parents with developmental information and a baseline as to how their child is developing in comparison to his or her peers. If you live within the boundaries of the Baldwin-Woodville Area School District and have a preschool child between the ages of 2 years 10 months to 4 years 2 months old that has not previously been screened by school personnel, you are eligible to participate in Child Development Days. Child Development Days is not associated with 4-year-old kindergarten and is not a requirement for that program.
Hours for this year’s Child Development Days will be:
Thursday, November 7 12:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m.
If you have concerns about your child’s development but are not comfortable in a group setting, other arrangements may be possible. If you or your child are ill or may have been exposed to COVID, please let us know; we can make other arrangements to address your concerns.
Please contact Kari at 715-684-3411 ext. 1106 or kcampbell@bwsd.k12.wi.us to schedule a time for your child to participate OR for additional information to discuss whether an individual screening is warranted.
