Our Greenfield Elementary students had an absolute blast visiting Baldwin-Woodville High School for a hands-on petting zoo hosted by our amazing BW FFA members!

From snuggling adorable kittens and making new canine friends to getting brave with a snake, our students loved learning all about these special animals. A huge thank you to the high school FFA students for sharing their knowledge (and their cute pets) with our younger Blackhawks!

Our Baldwin-Woodville FFA members brought agriculture to life! Members celebrated Ag Day by driving their tractors to school and hosting a hands-on petting zoo for our elementary students. Thank you to these students for sharing their passion, knowledge, and hard work with our younger leaders!

Mrs. Stimmel’s class has been hard at work learning about nonstandard measurement. To test their skills, they invited Mr. Sbertoli in to see how many of his footsteps it would take to measure a jump rope compared to their own. The verdict? It only took 8 1/2 of his giant steps! Great job, mathematicians! 🌟

Please be aware of the following update regarding today’s power outage: Current Status: Greenfield Elementary and Baldwin-Woodville High School are currently without power. Restoration Time: Utility crews now estimate power will be restored by 10:15 AM (updated from 8:15 AM). School is IN SESSION: Since buses were already running, students should attend as normal. Plan: Our teachers and staff are adjusting schedules and making accommodations to run classes smoothly this morning. We will share updates as soon as new information becomes available. THEY SURVIVED THE ROOF! 🏠
Mr. Sbertoli & Mr. Vande Berg made a deal with our students: if we raised $10,000 for our school, they would spend 3 hours on the roof.

Well, the Greenfield community completely blew us away... WE RAISED NEARLY $19,000! 🎉 So, naturally, we had to double our time and spend a full 6 hours up there! Seeing the students' reactions during morning arrival and recess was absolutely priceless! 😂👍

We are so thankful for all of the generous donations from the community! These funds will be used in a variety of ways to directly benefit our students, including:
✨ Building and technology upgrades
✨ Special teacher projects
✨ Essential classroom needs

We plan to include updates and pictures in the Blackhawk Bulletin when we are able to start ordering things for the building with that money.

Thank you for supporting our school and making this rooftop adventure worth every minute!

This remarkable team defined an era of program excellence by capturing the first WIAA Softball State Championship in Baldwin-Woodville history during a dominant 28-1 season, capped off by a 7-0 shutout victory at Goodman Diamond in Madison!
